Here comes the sun...do do do do!

It 's been raining all freakn' week so far which leaves me to do little gardening and etsy picture taking but today, ta-da! Finally a mostly sunny day. I decided to take some pics of my garden so far for you all. Also, here's the new toe ring addition!

Time.

We pushed celebrating Donnovan's 1st birthday party back to this upcoming weekend because other family members already had obligations and I wanted everyone to be there. I am stressing out about the party because we have such a small house, and sooooo many people coming. It will be the first time that we ever had more than 5 people at my house at once. I really hope it doesn't rain, that is going to be horrible. It seems like everyday the forcast changes for saturday too, make up your damn mind weatherman!!!!
Anyway, all this stressing and planning is leaving little time for me to craft and be attached to my etsy shop. I'm feeling a little guilty about planting my ass in front of the computer when there seems to be so much stuff to get done. Maybe I should start drinking more coffee.....that ought to do wonders for my already horrific stomach problems!
Wish me luck this week peeps! Pass the xanax.

Just an FYI

My “Twinkle Toez” rings have been renamed “Pretty Piggies” in case you’re looking for them. I recently started selling the toe rings new in my shop and have been very excited about them but I have noticed that there are other toe rings out on the market with the same name. To avoid any future conflict, I have renamed my product.

Etsy shopper aggravation!!!!

If your a shopper on Etsy, I would assume that you are there because you know that we are a community of artists, and crafters who produce items that you hopefully won't see in mass production. Or at least this is what my theroy on it is.
Why would you shop etsy if you wanted things that look exactly like something in a store? Sure, you have the pat on the back knowing that the items was hand crafted instead of factory made..but isn't it more than that? What about the uniqueness? What about creativity?
I am so aggravated right now because I was contacted by someone to make mass quanties of the same style ring for retail. I know that a lot of people would say, "whoo hoo!, I hit the jackpot" but I really am discouraged. I like to make my items "one of a kind", it's different if someone said that they would like 4 or 5 specially made same rings for like, I dunno, friends or something. But 500 pieces of the same ring???!!! My artistic quality just goes right down the toliet.
I'm just venting, but I'd like to hear some imput on this one....

Well holy crap!!!!

I was contacted by a woman who is considering buying my twinkle toe rings wholesale!!! Holy crap! I'm so excited, I don't know how to contain myself. This would be the ultimate thing to happen from etsy, for someone to see and like my work so much it actually takes off like a rocket ship....yippee!!!! I'm tring to stay focused and realize what this means for me work wise, but I can't settle down yet. I need supplies, I need time, I need some sleep!
It's great to be back, it was just the boost I needed after my rough time.
