Some things change, others remain the same.

I decided since I've kind of left my customer's hanging about what's been going on with my shop and where to find my merchandise it would be good to leave an explanation for some things. I do not have my shop on etsy anymore. There were a number of things that started to annoy me about the site, and then on top of it I was having a harder time with my illness. Online selling requires a lot of time and focus. Also a hell of a lot of money which isn't at my disposal when I have health problems constinetely.
Right now I've been waiting on a hip replacement. I should have it by the middle of July. After I heal I plan on starting an Artfire.com shop Besides that, I will be doing public shows again with my friend as long as she will still work with me. It's a shame that I worked so hard on my etsy shop just to have it go down the tubes but it's all for the best. I can't commit to it right now and after a while of seeing the true side of etsy, the sellers, and the ridiculous things that happen there as far as greed and rudeness....it's just not what I wanted.
If your following my blog or just are looking for my items again....I'll be back soon. Until then I wish you all well!

Nope, not even dead yet!!!

*Sigh*

Yes, yes- I haven't blogged in a while, no wonder I have almost no followers but the ones I do I am so grateful for so thanks for keeping me :)

So what happened? Well once again I was in the hospital and hopefully it will be the last time, or at least the last for many many years. There is less in my body and more of me in the city landfill but it hasn't squelched my creativity. I have been striving to get more goodies in the shop as fast as I can but I can't Deny that it has been still difficult some days with all these tubes and devices still attached to me. My wound vac should be gone in about another week, and my catheter that is tapped to some fluid in my back, lovingly known as my "butt pipe" by my husband will be out next Tuesday. Thank god, it really sucks sitting on a IV port.

Well, for those still with me, thanks once again and I will be sure to have more excitement soon. Lots of love to all you in the inter tube,
Anners

Struggling with lighting issues in my home, I have some items that aren't up for sale yet just because there aren't any good pictures of them yet. Here are some that aren't up yet but coming soon!

Amazingly good ideas by OlliesBoutique

I had the pleasure of tring a fantasic new item available from this Etsy shop:

and I can't help but rave about it!

Almost everyone seems to have a swiffer mop right? I know when they came out I was one of the first to jump on the wagon but quickly tossed it aside with my other cleaning apparatices that "seem" convienent but really they are not. My biggest complaint was how you had to keep buying those cloths for the swiffer mop. Yeah yeah, I know they are out to make money too but it just seemed so very wasteful!

Well Ollies Boutique has solved the problem! Check out these most awesome washable, reusable, and very cute swiffer cloths! They are such a great idea, I can't come up with any reason why you wouldn't want to buy one of these if you have a swiffer.

They fit the dry mop and wetjet. When it's dirty, toss in the wash! Save money, save the landfill of more garbage. She will even make a custom color for you, how very cool is that!

Do Tell!

Amidst of all that is crazy in my life as far as the progression of my RA and Lupus I still am plugging away on etsy in hopes that my scarves really start to pick up soon.
My views are lacking, not sure why. I thought maybe it was the pictures, perhaps on some it is. I reviewed the ones that have sold and it seems that the skinnier..accessory types do better online. So I'm asking you to tell me...
Can you guys go to my site, and tell me which of the scarves you'd be more inclined to buy. I'd also like to know if you think that the prices are scaring people??? I was not a believer in the whole, "if it's too cheap people won't buy it" idea but perhaps I just need a rude awakening. Does it seem like I'm selling junk? I certainly am not but I really want to know if I'm being perceived that way.

I look forward to your responses! Thanks friends!
